Debbie Marcovitch
Case Manager
Debbie has been with Global Mediation since 2001 and works across the end-to-end case management of Special Education Needs and other Local Authority mediations.
A European Business Systems graduate, Debbie spent time as IT Helpdesk Manager at a top-five City law firm and has worked in the legal IT sector as a trainer and support analyst.
Her day-to-day activity includes explaining the mediation service to parents; liaison between Local Authority Officers, mediators, parents and other relevant parties; establishing a focus for the key issues and parameters to be discussed and then assigning appropriate mediators; document preparation and ensuring there is an open, transparent dialogue between all parties at all times that will lead to a successful resolution.
In addition to Case Management, Debbie also has responsibility for Quality Control of the SEN Mediation Scheme and since 2007 has produced Global Mediation’s Annual SEN Quality Report.
She also provides training for Local Authority Officers, organises training days and produces and evaluates statistics relating to mediations.

A mother of three daughters, Debbie volunteers at the local primary school and in her spare time plays the piano and saxophone.
