Clinical Negligence

For obvious reasons, clinical negligence mediation (sometimes known as medical malpractice mediation) is one of the most emotion-driven forms of mediation.

Global Mediation has a team of highly experienced and skilled mediators who act neutrally and independently, sensitive to the needs of the parties. Using mediation enables parties to discuss remedies not available in court, including fast dispute resolution; improving clinical processes and procedures; avoiding damaging publicity; apologies or compensation where appropriate and the ability to restore relationships and trust.

Our mediators will establish the key issues to be discussed in a confidential, safe environment and they work hard to facilitate an outcome to which both parties can agree. After successful mediation, parties are more able to move on with their lives quickly and free of protracted, unwanted stress.

As a consumer, it’s often hard to know where to take your dispute if there is an issue with a product or service you have purchased. Whether it’s a business to business issue or business to consumer, not all companies have effective customer complaint schemes or industry ombudsmen and the initial reaction is to seek redress through the courts.

  • Contractual and Terms of Service disputes

Our experienced, impartial and independent mediators focus on settling disputes quickly and confidentially and work with both parties to achieve an outcome that is mutually beneficial and minimises unwanted and unnecessary financial burden and stress.

Personal Injury

Personal injury disputes can be protracted and expensive and are affected by heightened emotion. They can also become complicated when there is a lack of an agreement about liability and the level of damages.

While the longer, expensive and more stressful litigation process focuses on a win/lose scenario, Global Mediation provides an opportunity to discuss sensitive issues in a confidential and safe environment including the claimants’ injuries, effects and suffering as well as the impact on the defendant. Mediation can speed up the process of emotional recovery and will establish a cost-effective, constructive solution that focuses on a mutually beneficial outcome for both parties.

Settlements are expedited since all the key decision-makers are together in one place at the same time and mediation avoids the need for long, drawn-out legal correspondence.
