LINDA LAURANCE

LINDA LAURANCE is a CEDR accredited and registered mediator with over ten years’ experience.  She acts both as a sole mediator, and as lead mediator in co-mediations. As part of her responsibilities as a director of Global Mediation, Linda is co-ordinator of the Special Educational Needs Mediation Service, and is an experienced panel member of this service.

Linda also specialises in interpersonal and employment disputes, and in facilitation of away days and team meetings. She leads training courses on conflict awareness and management and on dealing with disputes in the workplace. She was a founder member and chairman of South Central Mediation. 

As an independent consultant Linda is principal of a group of associates advising boards and senior managers in relation to governance issues, having been a chief executive and held several chairmanships of charities.

She chaired the working party which produced the Good Governance Code for the Voluntary and Community Sector and currently chairs the implementation group for Trustee and Management Committee National Occupational Standards.  Linda has achieved national recognition having been described as “governance guru” in ThirdSector magazine (Opinion leader, 20 September 2006).
