Alternative dispute resolution in civil, commercial and family matters

European Parliament adopts non-legislative Resolution

The European Parliament plenary session, on 25 October 2011, adopted a non-legislative Resolution on alternative dispute resolution in civil, commercial and family matters. In its Resolution the European Parliament calls on the European Commission to submit a legislative proposal on the use of alternative dispute resolution for consumer matters in the EU by the end of 2011 and emphasises the importance of its swift adoption.
